La Fuentecita Beach

BeachesOutdoors / Nature

La Fuentecita Beach is located in the municipality of Yaiza, on the southern coast of Lanzarote, within a volcanic and sparsely developed setting. Its surface is covered with volcanic pebbles, and the landscape is shaped by the island's geology, featuring dark tones and a natural profile that sets it apart from the more famous golden sand beaches.

Access to La Fuentecita is not straightforward: you reach it on foot from the Playa Blanca area or by walking several kilometers along the coast from Playa Mujeres, which explains its remote character and low visitor numbers. This isolation has preserved a quiet atmosphere, ideal if you're looking for a place with minimal human presence and direct contact with the volcanic coastline.

La Fuentecita is part of a wild and open stretch of coast facing the ocean, with no lifeguard services, shade, or tourist facilities. It is not recommended for swimming without experience in open water. Instead, it appeals to those who enjoy coastal hiking and observing Lanzarote's shoreline in its most natural state.
