Terms of use

These terms govern the use of descubrecanarias.com and its services, provided by the owner identified in the Legal notice. By creating an account or using the services you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

• A free guide to places, beaches, trails, events and experiences in the Canary Islands.
• A free account to save favourites and publish reviews.
• Tools for businesses, such as managing their listing and digital menus, some with paid plans.

The guide's information is for reference only: confirm opening hours, prices and conditions with each business or organiser.

• You must be at least 14 years old and provide truthful information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for anything done from your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change it and let us know.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to info@quiube.com from the email you registered with.

Your reviews must reflect a real experience and respect others. Illegal, offensive, discriminatory, promotional or false content, or content that infringes third-party rights, is not allowed.

You remain the author of what you publish, but you grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display it on the site and in the app for as long as it stays published. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

Descubre Canarias does not sell experiences and is not a travel agency. When you click “Check availability” you go to Viator (part of Tripadvisor), which handles the booking, payment, changes and cancellations under its own terms. Any claim about a booking must be addressed to Viator or the activity provider.

If you book through those links we earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We show prices, ratings and cancellation policies as Viator provides them; the price and conditions that apply are the ones you see when booking.

• To manage a business listing you must be authorised to represent that business. We may ask you to prove it.
• The business is responsible for the information it publishes, especially prices and allergens on its menus, which it must keep accurate and up to date under Regulation (EU) 1169/2011.
• Paid plans are charged in advance through Stripe and renew automatically each period until you cancel from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
• The current price, taxes and what each plan includes are shown before you subscribe. If we change prices, we will notify you in advance and you can cancel before they apply.

You may not:

• Extract content in bulk or by automated means (scraping) or reuse it without permission.
• Try to access areas or data without authorisation, or interfere with the site's operation.
• Impersonate other people or businesses.
• Use the site to send unsolicited advertising or for unlawful purposes.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, notifying you where possible and explaining why. If you have a paid plan and the closure is not due to a breach on your part, we will refund the unused portion.

We provide the service with due care, but we don't guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions. We are not liable for information provided by third parties (businesses, organisers or Viator), or for services you contract with them. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms to reflect legal or service changes. We will publish the new version here and, if the change is significant and you have an account, we will notify you by email in advance.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence. Before that, write to us: almost everything gets solved by talking.
