   Upon arrival, you can pick up your car directly at the airport – most car rental companies are located in the arrival hall of the terminal or in the adjacent parking garage P1, just a few steps from the exit.

2. Maspalomas

   Maspalomas, located in the south of Gran Canaria, is the island's largest beach resort. It offers beautiful, expansive sandy beaches and excellent facilities in the form of shops, restaurants, bars and discos. - Playa de Maspalomas: The resort's largest beach, known for its tranquility, although it is often windy and larger waves appear. On the beach you will also find Faro de Maspalomas, the highest lighthouse in the Canary Islands. - Playa de las Meloneras: A smaller beach, less windy and ideal for those seeking a quieter environment. - Playa del Inglés: A beach with golden sand and calm sea, located near the Dunas de Maspalomas nature reserve.

Day 2

1. Mirador De Las Dunas

   The Maspalomas Dunes viewpoint is a unique vantage point offering breathtaking views of the famous Maspalomas dunes. Located near the Maspalomas resort, it provides a panoramic view of the vast landscape of sand dunes stretching along the coast. From the viewpoint, you can admire the contrast between the golden dunes and the azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean. This place is ideal for photography and nature lovers, especially at sunrise or sunset, when the changing light gives the whole scenery a magical atmosphere.

2. Reserva Natural Especial de Las Dunas de Maspalomas

   The Maspalomas Dunes nature reserve offers an unforgettable experience – rolling sand dunes reminiscent of the Sahara desert, right on the ocean. The best way to enter the reserve is from the Mirador Las Dunas viewpoint, near the Riu Palace hotel. From there, you can continue along the main marked trail that runs along the edge of the dunes towards the Faro de Maspalomas lighthouse. Alternatively, you can head towards the sea and then continue along the coast to the aforementioned lighthouse. In the dunes, only move along marked trails and paved paths, which serve to protect this unique environment and also help you with orientation.

3. Stop 3

   Las Mujeres Beach, also known as Playa de las Mujeres, is a quiet and secluded beach on the west coast of Gran Canaria, near the town of Mogán. While not as popular as other beaches on the island, it attracts visitors with its peaceful environment and natural beauty. Keep in mind that Las Mujeres beach is natural and secluded, with minimal services. Therefore, bring everything you need, such as food, water, and other necessities.

Day 3

1. Fataga

   On your way there or back, take a break in the village of Fataga. This picturesque village with traditional white houses is located in a beautiful valley. The winding road will take you through breathtaking scenery, where there are countless places to stop and admire the beautiful views.

2. Pico De Las Nieves

   Pico de las Nieves, at an altitude of 1,949 m, is the highest mountain on Gran Canaria. The ascent is undemanding, as a road leads all the way to the Mirador del Pico de los Pozos de la Nieve viewpoint, ending in a parking lot. For those who prefer a more active experience, a walk along the ridge is a great option. If you want to hike up the mountain, park in Llanos de la Pez, from where a marked trail leads through the forest, gently uphill. The path is well-maintained, mostly shaded by pine trees, and offers beautiful views even during the ascent. After approximately 30-40 minutes of walking, you will reach the Mirador del Pico de los Pozos de la Nieve viewpoint, from where it is only a few steps to the summit itself.

3. Roque Bentayga

   The imposing rock of Roque Bentayga rises majestically near the village of Tejeda. The climb to it is easy and measures less than 1 km. Park at the Roque Bentayga Parking area, where you will also find an information centre and toilets, and then explore this unique natural monument.

Day 4

1. Mirador del Balcón

   Mirador del Balcón is a magnificent viewpoint 500 metres above the cliff, offering a breathtaking view of the entire west coast of Gran Canaria. Located just 50 m from the car park, it is easily accessible to all visitors.

2. Cactualdea Park

   Cactualdea Park is the largest cactus garden in Europe, where you can admire cacti up to 6 metres high. The park is open daily from 10:30 to 17:00.

3. Playa de Güigüi

   You can get to the remote Playa de Güigüí beach in two ways - on foot or by boat, each offering a completely different experience. The hiking trail starts in the small mountain village of Tasartico, where you can park along the road. From there, head towards Playa del Asno and follow the signs "Gui-Gui beach trail". The trail leads over a saddle with views of the mountains and the ocean, then descends to the beach itself. This is a challenging hike suitable for experienced hikers, with a total length of approximately 15 km (round trip). It is recommended to arrive at the beach before 3 pm, when access is safe due to the tide. A more comfortable option is a boat trip from the port of Puerto Rico, which will take you directly to the beach. This will save you physical effort. Tickets can be conveniently purchased online - for example, through the Viator platform, where you can find trips like "Gui Gui Beach Boat Trip with Lunch".

Day 5

1. Agüimes

   It's time to explore history, and Agüimes is the perfect place. This charming town, founded in 1491, is one of the most beautiful historical sites in Gran Canaria. Strolling through its winding streets, you'll encounter sculptures, open-air galleries, and stylish cafes nestled among traditional houses with colorful shutters. The magnificent San Sebastián Basilica dominates the town, captivating you not only with its architecture but also with its tranquil atmosphere. Don't forget to stop by the small square, explore the artisan shops, and soak up the authentic Canarian atmosphere. Agüimes won't surprise you with grand gestures – but it will win you over with its calmness, elegance, and the true soul of the island.

   Two rocky crevices, formed by volcanic activity, "breathe" and spray water high into the air like natural geysers at high tide – a fascinating spectacle that constantly changes with the rhythm of the sea. Swimming here is not safe, but it's an ideal place for nature observation. A coastal promenade nearby leads to smaller viewpoints and quiet corners overlooking the ocean. You can take a short walk along the coast towards Playa Hoya del Pozo beach, which is suitable for swimming and relaxation.

   Get ready for peaceful moments, slightly warm sand, waves gently lapping the shore, and nearby benches and toilets. The beach is suitable for families, children can play safely here.

Day 6

1. Stop 1

   Arucas is a picturesque town renowned for its rich cultural heritage and architecture. The town's dominant feature is the Cathedral of Saint Anne (Catedral de Arucas), built in Neo-Gothic and Neo-Romanesque styles. This impressive building, with towers that rise above the skyline, houses beautiful works of art inside and is beautifully illuminated after dark. Arucas also attracts visitors with its charming old quarter full of narrow streets, historic houses, and buildings that create a magical atmosphere.

2. Destilería Arehucas

   Another attraction is the Arucas rum factory (Destilerías Arehucas), the oldest of its kind on the island. It offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the production process of the famous Arehucas rum and enjoy a tasting.

3. Parque Natural Tamadaba

   The area around the town of Arucas hides one of the greenest areas of the island, the Tamadaba National Park. This protected area is a paradise for nature lovers and hikers. Dense pine forests, deep valleys and views of the dramatic coastline create the ideal backdrop for shorter and moderately challenging trips. We recommend, for example, the circular route from the Llanos de La Mimbre forest area. The trail will take you through a pine forest on marked trails with several viewpoints offering views of the western coast cliffs and the green slopes below. The hike is moderately challenging and suitable even for active recreational hikers. An ideal opportunity to recharge in the midst of the untamed nature of Gran Canaria.

4. Caves Of Valeron

   Valerón is one of the most significant archaeological sites in the Canary Islands. This cave site, inhabited by the original inhabitants of the island, the Guanches, has roots dating back to the 1st millennium BC. You will find almost 300 dwellings here, making it a fascinating place for history lovers. The site is open daily except Mondays, from 10:00 to 17:00 (October to March) or 18:00 during the summer season.

Day 7

1. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

   If you still have time, be sure to use the last day to visit the capital of Gran Canaria, Las Palmas. Visit the historic districts of Triana and Vegueta, which will enchant you with their atmosphere, and don't forget to visit St. Anne's Cathedral, one of the main monuments of the city.
