Playa del Rosadero is located on the northern coast of Fuerteventura, within the municipality of La Oliva. Unlike the long white sand beaches found further north on the island, here the coastal landscape mixes stretches of fine sand with a notable presence of volcanic rocks that line the shore and make direct access to the water more difficult in several spots.

This is a wide, service-free beach: there are no showers, lifeguards, or facilities.
