Playa del Dormidero lies in the northern part of Fuerteventura, within the municipality of La Oliva, inside the Corralejo Natural Park. Its fine golden sand stretches alongside turquoise waters, typical of this protected volcanic landscape.

As part of an undeveloped natural area, you won't find beach bars, toilets or services here. You can drive close to the shore, parking along the road that runs through the park. The lack of buildings and the low number of visitors preserve the wild character of this coastline.

Small circular stone shelters, traditional refuges against the northern wind, dot the landscape near the shore. The waves are often strong, typical of this exposed stretch of Atlantic coast.
