Trail S69 Barranquillo Andres - Tauro - Paso De Laderones - Playa De Mogán

This 17.9 km linear trail between Barranquillo de Andrés and Playa de Mogán crosses the Tauro Natural Monument (C-17) in a very high difficulty route. The trail description notes an elevation gain reaching a maximum altitude of 1,167 m and very stony sections that can be uncomfortable for progress, with an estimated time of 6 hours and 19 minutes.

Known as the Las Lomadas trail, the route is demanding and runs through shadeless areas, highly exposed to sun. It crosses very solitary and isolated zones with no possibility of intermediate services until descending into the Mogán ravine valley. On the descent to El Cercado, the trail partially follows the actual riverbed of Cañada de Las Puntas, something to consider after rainy episodes.

The route is evident, although you must pay attention not to take the wrong path, especially with the trail leading to Molino de Viento via the Los Laderones descent. The trail can be sectioned near the Salto del Perro Dam and at the GC-200 road that runs through the ravine valley.

The trail description considers this route of high scenic value, with impressive views towards Roque Nublo, Arguineguín, Barranco de Mogán, Los Azulejos, Inagua, Aslobas and Horgazales. It is located in the municipality of Mogán and traverses the Tauro Natural Monument.

Variant S 69.1 is situated at the top of the Tauro Massif, circling Llano de Felisia and reconnecting with the trail at Los Andenes de la Hoya del Almácigo.

Link S 69.2 leads to El Caidero, in the Arguineguín ravine basin. The trail description notes this is a tough route due to its steep descents through stony trails that can be tiring. You must pay attention not to get confused at Degollada de las Yeguas and take the route that leads back to Barranquillo de San Andrés.
