Punta Blanca

BeachesOutdoors / Nature

Playa Blanca is located in the municipality of La Oliva, on the east coast of Fuerteventura, just a few kilometres from Puerto del Rosario. You can reach it by taking the FV-2 road towards La Oliva and following the signs to this coastal area of light sand and calm waters.

The site stands out for its natural landscape and tranquillity, away from the busier tourist zones of the island. Here you will find an environment of fine, light-coloured sand that gives the beach its name, surrounded by volcanic formations typical of Fuerteventura's coastline. It is an open space where wind is often present, as in much of the island's eastern coast.

Bear in mind this is a protected natural environment. Local regulations prohibit removing sand or natural elements, including the so-called popcorn stones, fossil coral formations characteristic of some beaches on the island. Respect the landscape and take any waste with you to help preserve the site.
