Caleta del Mojón Beach
Caleta del Mojón Blanco is a small beach of white sand mixed with volcanic rock, located on the northern coast of Lanzarote, within the municipality of Haría. Its name refers to an old whitewashed stone marker that once served as a navigation point for local sailors.
Here you'll find a secluded setting, reached by an unmarked track, where Lanzarote's volcanic landscape contrasts with the pale tone of the sand. The cove sits between dark lava rock formations and is exposed to the northern wind, common along this part of the island. Surf and tides affect the usable sand area, which varies with sea conditions.
Access is via a dirt track from the road linking Haría with Órzola. There are no facilities, natural shade or services in the area, so bring water and sun protection. The solitude is part of its character: it's a remote spot on Lanzarote's northern shoreline, lightly visited outside peak season.
