Playa Blanca is located on the southern coast of Lanzarote, within the municipality of Yaiza. This coastal town is one of the island's tourist areas, alongside Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise. It's about forty minutes by car from Lanzarote Airport and has bus connections.

The beach that gives the town its name is urban, with golden sand and calm waters. It measures around 130 metres long by 12 metres wide. In the surrounding area you'll find restaurants, shops and nightlife options. From here you can enjoy panoramic views over the Atlantic and, on clear days, neighbouring islands.

Playa Blanca combines a coastal setting with services typical of a developed tourist zone. Its position at the southern tip of Lanzarote makes it a starting point for exploring the island's south and the Los Ajaches Natural Park.
