Itinerary

Experience the authentic art of Majorero cheese making from start to finish on a traditional farm in Fuerteventura. From milking the famous Majorera goats — considered the best in the world for desert climates — to shaping and vacuum-packing your own cheese, this hands-on workshop lets you live the island’s most iconic tradition. On arrival, enjoy a welcome coffee while your host introduces the experience and the farm. You’ll then learn professional manual and machine milking techniques before moving on to the most exciting part: creating your own fresh cheese, step by step, just like a local cheesemaker. Midway through the activity, take a break with a delicious authentic Fuerteventura breakfast. Relax in the garden patio and enjoy a fresh cheese sandwich, a cheese board with Canarian mojos and homemade jams, plus your choice of drink — coffee, tea, local Tenerife wine, beer, soft drinks or water. Once your cheese has rested in the press, return to the production room to vacuum-pack and label your creation, taking home a unique, edible souvenir of your experience.
