In the municipality of El Tanque, within the Chinyero Natural Park, you'll find this campground set over a thousand metres above sea level and surrounded by dense Canary pine forest. The mountain environment offers fresh air, natural shade beneath towering pines and a light mist typical of these heights, with temperatures that cool down at night.

The site has 425 pitches spread across a large area, along with brick-built barbecues equipped with nearby wooden tables and benches. Next to the camping area there's a recreational zone set up for picnics and a small kiosk where you can get coffee, soft drinks and snacks. The campground provides toilets, drinking water fountains and free parking right next to the access road.

From here, several trails lead into the natural park, including the route to Montaña Chinyero, a volcano that erupted in 1909 and whose cone you can walk around. The location places you in a quiet natural setting, surrounded by pine woods and well suited for spending the night under the stars in Tenerife's northwestern midlands.
