Playa Barranco del Roque is located in the municipality of Guía de Isora, in the southwest of Tenerife, in a remote area with difficult access. It is a small cove on the volcanic coast surrounded by an arid and rocky landscape, far from the busier tourist centres.

The path down to the shore is challenging and requires caution, especially due to the uneven terrain. Before descending, it is worth checking the sea conditions, as the swell can affect your visit. Near the beach there are remains of old buildings that are part of the coastal scenery of this part of the island.

Due to its remote location and access characteristics, it is a rarely visited spot where direct contact with the volcanic nature of Tenerife's coastline prevails.
