Tía Vicenta Beach
Playa de la Tía Vicenta is located in the municipality of Teguise, on the northeast coast of Lanzarote. It is a beach of black volcanic pebbles and rocks, set away from the busier tourist areas and retaining a natural, isolated character.
You can reach it from the village of Los Cocoteros. It's common to leave your car at a marked junction and continue on foot for about 500 metres along a dirt track that may be rough depending on conditions. The walk allows you to take in the volcanic landscape before arriving at the beach.
The setting is open, with plenty of rocks and no services or facilities. If you visit, bring water and everything you need, as there is no natural shade or infrastructure nearby. It's not a beach for comfortable swimming due to the stones and surf, but it does offer quiet coastal walks.
