Perchel Beach

BeachesOutdoors / Nature

Playa Perchel is a small cove of dark sand located on the coast of Mogán. Approximately 130 metres long and 25 metres wide, it's one of the isolated spots on the southern coastline of Gran Canaria, away from the busier tourist areas.

Getting here involves a short, steep and somewhat uneven path, so proper footwear is advisable. There are no facilities or beach bars, and vegetation behind the beach reinforces its natural character. It's a cove frequented by those seeking peace and a less urbanised setting, and nudism is commonly practised here in a respectful manner.

The waters are usually calm, typical of this sheltered stretch of the island's coast. If you're looking for a simple, facility-free spot with few visitors even during high season, Playa Perchel can be a good choice to escape the crowds.
