La Cícer is the southern stretch of Las Canteras beach in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Unlike the northern section sheltered by La Barra reef, this area faces the Atlantic swell directly, making it the city's main surf spot. The beach has a more active, sports-oriented vibe, with volcanic rocks appearing along the shoreline alongside the sand.

The seafront promenade is lined with bars and beach kiosks where locals gather, especially at sunset when the sun drops into the ocean. You'll often see beach volleyball and football games on the sand, and there's plenty of space even on busy days. This stretch benefits from good evening light thanks to its westward orientation.
