El Ancla Beach

BeachesOutdoors / Nature

Playa El Ancla is located on the northern coast of Lanzarote, in the municipality of Teguise, along Avenida el Salinero. It is a small cove with pebbles and volcanic stones, without fine sand, forming part of the rocky coastline typical of this area of the island.

Access to the water can be difficult due to the stony ground and the usual presence of seaweed along the shore. It is a quiet, uncrowded spot with no services or tourist facilities directly on the beach. The natural surroundings are open and somewhat rugged, with views over the Atlantic Ocean and a geographical layout that limits direct sunlight at certain times of day.
