Montaña Negra is a 596-metre volcano located in the municipality of Tías, Lanzarote, one of the three highest on the island. From its summit you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view that includes the village of Tías, the sea, Timanfaya Natural Park and the protected landscape of La Geria.

Access to the summit is currently prohibited, as confirmed by site workers and various local sources. The ascent is difficult and demands good physical condition and suitable footwear due to the irregular volcanic terrain. Although some hiking guides mention this route, it's advisable to check current restrictions before planning any excursion.
