The Mirador Salto del Enamorado is located on Calle San Bartolomé in Puntallana, a strategic spot in the northeast of La Palma where you'll see the sea and the rugged ravine landscape typical of this part of the island. It's open 24 hours and access is free.

The name refers to a local legend about a leap into the void over unrequited love, though for many years this viewpoint was simply known as Mirador de San Bartolo. You'll also find a sculpture here that evokes that story. The view extends over terraced slopes with traditional cultivation, deep ravines, and the Atlantic coast—a combination especially characteristic of Puntallana.

Since this is an open viewpoint in an area with variable weather, you may encounter low clouds or haze depending on the day and time. If you have time, staying a while lets you appreciate the changing light and enjoy the place more calmly.
