Mirador de Cofete is one of those places that leaves you speechless when you arrive. Perched high on the mountain at 353 meters altitude in Jandía Natural Park, this viewpoint offers absolutely spectacular views of the wild and extensive Cofete beach, one of the most impressive stretches of sand in Fuerteventura with over 10 kilometers of pristine coastline.

Getting here requires driving along an 8-kilometer dirt track from Morro Jable, a journey that's an adventure in itself. The road winds through the Jandía peninsula, and right at a bend near the summit you'll find this panoramic viewpoint offering 360-degree views where the Atlantic Ocean, arid mountains, and Fuerteventura's unique lunar landscape merge into an unforgettable postcard. The wind usually blows strongly, reminding you of the wild surroundings, but it's precisely this untamed nature that makes Cofete such a special and revered place among island visitors.
