★ 4.9 (31 reviews)
The Mirador de Alojera, also known as Mirador Piedra Hincada, is one of those special spots in La Gomera that makes you want to pause and breathe. Located in Valle Gran Rey, this scenic viewpoint offers stunning panoramic views of dramatic cliffs, Alojera beach, and the lush forest that blankets much of the island. Its thoughtful design and pristine natural surroundings make it a must-visit for anyone exploring the area.
What's great is that it's open 24 hours a day, so you can catch sunrise, bask in the Canarian sun, or even stargaze at night. Even in July, bring a light jacket—the fresh mountain air can be surprisingly cool. From here, a well-maintained trail leads west toward Los Barrancillos viewpoint, perfect for hiking enthusiasts. It's a clean, peaceful spot with nearby walking paths and views you'll want to capture forever. Just note that parking is limited to a couple of cars, but the breathtaking beauty is absolutely worth it.
