Playa el Puertito lies at the southern tip of La Palma, within the municipality of Fuencaliente de La Palma. This small, secluded beach measures roughly 75 meters long by 10 meters wide and is made up of volcanic boulders surrounded by a striking lava landscape typical of the area.

Access by land involves about 4 kilometers of rough gravel track, and visitor accounts note that a 4x4 vehicle is necessary. Alternatively, you can reach it by sea, which is the more common route. The beach is isolated and rarely crowded, even during peak season, and tends to be windy with moderate swell.
