Charca de Taliarte

Natural Puddles and PoolsBeachesOutdoors / Nature

Cala de Taliarte is a small rocky beach located along Paseo Marítimo de Taliarte, on the east coast of Gran Canaria. Unlike the island's well-known sandy beaches, here you'll find a natural volcanic rock setting with calm, clear waters, especially appreciated by those who enjoy snorkeling and beginner diving.

The seabed of this cove reaches six meters over sand, after passing the rocky area, allowing you to observe marine life in a sheltered environment. Its small size and location next to Taliarte's port give it a peaceful character, better suited for swimmers and divers than for families seeking sandy stretches.

Access is relatively straightforward and parking is usually available, though it depends on the day. There are no showers or public restrooms, so it's worth keeping that in mind if you plan to spend several hours here.
