The Cristino de Vera Foundation and CajaCanarias Cultural Space join in with the 30th anniversary of the death of this brilliant artist from Catalonia, Joan Ponç, by holding an exhibition of his earlier artwork, which will remain open until the 19th of July. It will be open from Mondays to Fridays from 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00. The 'Joan Ponç' exhibition held by the Cristino de Vera Foundation gathers together a selection of 20 works belonging to the earlier stages of his artistic production, before his temporary exile to Brazil. 'Gouaches, decaying drawings, hallucinations', disturbing characters and fantastical zoologies allow us to delve into the artistic universe of one of the most complex and mysterious personalities on the Spanish artistic scene in the second half of the 20th century.
