This Castle conforms as an architectural referente of the zone for its peculiarity. The Castle of the Long Way was reformed some years ago to turn into a center of contemporary art. It is a mansion that one may find in the heart of La Laguna, it was remodelled to dedicate it to exhibitions room. Constructed at the beginning of the last century, its first owner, the writer Domingo Cabrera Cruz, shared it as place of meeting with the artists and intellectual of La Laguna, in Tenerife. A building that for its architectural peculiarity is easily recognizable for the neighbors of the city. To distinguish something from its history, in it there was rolled the first considered movie produced by Canary filmmakers, The thief of white gloves. At present it is formed as a center and leisure for young persons.
