Ayuntamiento De Santa Cruz - Palacio Municipal

The Municipal Palace or the City Council of the capital is a little pushed aside from the historic and commercial centre of the city, right by the García Sanabria park. The building, in two floors, is next to the Bank of Spain and the military Church of Nuestra Senora de la Salud. It is classified as a well of Cultural Interest. In the main facade point out its three main entrances and the superior balconies, finished in pediments. The hall is quite marble, decorated with sculptures, filled glazings and of big mouldings of plaster in ceilings; a flight of steps covered with carpet leaves this one, and gives access to the floor superior. It accommodates offices and municipal management dependence of 5 districts of which the capital takes charge: Distrito Anaga, distrito Centro, distrito Salud - The Room, the distrito Ofra - Costa Sur, distrito Suroeste.
