Itinerary
Sunset Hiking Route through the Natural Monument of the Ajuy Caves and Arco del Jurado, where we will end with a tapas-style dinner in a local restaurant with spectacular sunset views over the sea and the beautiful black volcanic sand beach. We will start our 2 km tour at the Ajuy Caves Natural Monument and follow a path along the coast and its cliffs until we reach the Jurado Arch, a geological wonder on the west coast of Fuerteventura with fossils dating back more than 150 million years, when the island was just beginning to form at the bottom of the ocean. We will return to the small and picturesque fishing village of Ajuy, where we will end with a tapas-style dinner at a local restaurant with spectacular sunset views over the sea and the beautiful black volcanic sand beach. Itinerary: 16:30 Meeting at the Ajuy car park. 16:45: Walk along the coast. 19:00: Sunset and dinner at the restaurant. 20:00: Return and end of the tour.
