Tenerife Auditorium Adán Martín is a work which was designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava. The modern contour of the auditorium has made it be considered to be one of the most singular symbols in the city of Santa Cruz and in Tenerife Island. The building is built on a plot which is 23.000 square metres of which the auditorium takes up 6.471 square metres that are divided into two halls. The main hall, which is also called Sinfónica, is crowned by a dome and has 1.616 seats in the amphitheatre. With regard to the chamber hall, it is smaller than the amphitheatre in Sala Sinfónica and has 422 seats.
